Can you guys help me out. I have been meaning to replace a couple of wore cps 2 label but don't know how to proceed. I have high res image of the labels but do not know how to physically reproduce them. I need a high quality glossy with adhensive back reproduction, close to factory stock, not crappy copier papper. Any ideals

Ive seen a couple really great repros done for the cps2 labels. What you need to do is go to staples and by regular sticker paper. Also, while you are there, pick up a roll of clear conact paper. I rented a computer at kinkos to do the prints, because inkjet printers wont do it justice. After the print is done, lay the contact paper over the print (slowly so nobubbles form), then cut it to size using one of the paper cutters they have. Once applied the look extemely close to the actual cps2 labels.

Why use contac paper that has a low-tack adhesive? If you want a heavier stock print them out on cardstock. Most Kinko's stores carry what are called Lami-labels. It's a sheet of lamination that has a peel-off backing. If you can't find these then laminate the sheet and trim them out. Since the back will now be plastic-coated you can use just about any glue without worrying that it'll soak into the paper.

It won't be quite as heavy as the original label, but I never understood why Capcom used such heavy paper stock for the labels anyway.
