Recently found out about this. It's a DS game from Taito that's pretty much a sequel to Cameltry/Off the Wall. I guess it plays kinda like Kirby Tilt n Tumble, except you don't tilt the DS -- you're a marble and you move the background or whatever. Or maybe I'm wrong on that.

Anyways, I love simple games like these...just giving a heads up since I've never heard anyone mention it before. It seems ign did a preview of it in 2005.

Welcome to a long time ago. The game is fantastic and I had a blast with it. I played through it and sold it off here maybe a year back or so. There were several ways to tilt the screen and different balls to unlock. I remember not liking the stylus control but the other control options were fantastic.

Seems like there was pretty good multi-player from what I remember. Well worth picking up if you can find it as there is very little Japanese in it. It is one of the few games I wish I would have held on to.

EDIT:Looks like I posted I was playing this on March 6th 2006 in one of those what are you playing threads. So, it has been a while.

I know a guy selling it for $40 shipped, if I decide to not pick it up I'll post a link to the sale.

Great game but I doubt I would re buy it. I picked it up (and a lot of my import DS games) when Play Asia would do the 19.99 weekly specials. I sold it for about the same amount and while it is a great game, I wouldn't suggest paying more than about $25 for it.

The special sold out fast. Like a day or two after the special started. I missed it!

Yes, that was one of the quicker ones. It could be they had fewer copies to start with or it was a popular choice at that price. Usually the special game will last most if not all of the week.

Damn, talk about weird -- went to Best Buy today, saw a game called Labyrinth and it looked oddly familiar to MK. The Taito logo sealed the deal for me.

so yeah, effin sweet. And it was only $20.

I love Marble Madness-esque games so this was a no brainer.

I'm going to have to keep an eye out for UFO Entertainment...first with Raiden III and now this, they get the LoneSage thumbs up

I believe the game you saw at Best Buy is the same game we were talking about in this thread. I saw it at Best Buy the other day and IGN just reviewed it. (I think it got a 4/10) I thought it was pretty good and worth $20.

I was just playing Cameltry on Taito Legends 2. Really cool game, but controlling it with the d-pad wasn't the best.

On the DS version (From what I remember), you can use the Stylus, D-pad or R/L buttons but I could be wrong since it has been so long. I remember that the Sylus control sucked.

I think the R/L buttons would be my pick, other than tilting the system itself if it had that capability.

It sucks that Kirby Tilt n Tumble wont properly work in a GBA.:crying:

gameoz you crazy mexican

you were right

this game sucks

at least the original had an excuse for being so short -- it was an arcade game

but this, this is bullshit..

whatever. I'll thank UFO Entertainment for at least having the balls to bring it over.
