I'll also have to go with Goenitz. That guy was a pure badass in every meaning of the word. He whooped my ass like never before.

Goenitz is an asshole. it took me iori (last man) to beat him, on beginner - 1 mode. wtf.....

Okay!
I use Ryo or Robert for example:
First, when fight starts dash backward! Goenitz will certainly hold his position and start doing Tornados!
He cannot reach the other corner of the screen with them, so at maximum distance you are save!
Charge up your super gauge! Then wait!
When he does another tornado, you have to act with correct timing! Activate Ryoku Ranbu before Tornado vanishes but not too early because otherwise you get caught by it (Try to get a feeling for that). The nearer the tornado is at Goenitz the earlier you can start and vice versa. Instead of blocking Goenitz will try to create a new tornado, but you will hit before he can achieve that!
Even easier with Terry, do just the same with Burn Knuckles you needn´t charge your super gauge!
There is a risky but easiest way with Krauser. Let Goenitz beat you till your life bar flashes. Then get maximum distance to Goenitz and fire slow moving Kaiserwaves rapidly! You can even fire the next one without the last being vanished! Goenitz will have no chance because he reacts very foolish!
Try it out! Though it needs some exercise, you should have the edge very soon!
