It's in an arcade on the Santa Cruz boardwalk (pretty respectable mix of games all around for a 1 room 'cade at a tourist spot).

Battle Balls was pretty good. It seemed a bit slow, though, an extra second or so ticked away as balls rolled down the sides before they settled in place and a new set of balls appeared for you to take control of. I suppose with that added strategy it gave you a few milliseconds at least to plan your next move. I would have loved to see more animation, and the characters could have been a bit more attractive (maybe) if they weren't outlined heavily in black.

Seibu Kaihatsu is a developer with a cool library of games.

Yeah, and you can't help (as Neo Brethren) but to draw comparisons to Magical Drop which is more polished and lush with character.

Senkyuu is def interesting.

The whole 'roll off sides' thing makes it more interesting than your average color matching affairs.

But that's just me.
