Only own the first one, can't say I like it.

Were the sequels any better?

The only Klonoa game I bothered to beat was the PS2 version. That was a great game. The GBA versions were okay but never really could get in to them. It seems like I played two or three and one of them was an import.

If you didn't like the first, you probably wont like the later ones.

Klonoa 1 on PS1 is still one of my favorite adventure/platformer games.:buttrock:

I forgot about the PS version, that was very good. At one point it was worth some money as well.

Yea, it still goes for $30+ usually. At one point it was around $80+ or so IIRC. I should have sold mine then.:emb:

Love the PS1 and PS2 Klonoas. Most the portable ones are quite lackluster. But the last one on the GBA, dream tourney or something, is pretty good with solid puzzles and good action. If you're a fan of the series it'd be worth picking up for $10-$20 imo.

hmm, dunno if you read my post the wrong way, or maybe I'm reading your post the wrong way, but to clarify: I've played a demo of PS1 Klonoa (and LOVED it) and rented Klonoa 2, played a few levels and got a real kick out of that too.

I bought the first GBA Klonoa expecting more 2D goodness but was incredibly disappointed....they're just not the same.

Klonoa 2 on the PS2 edged out the first game by quite a bit I think. Those sand/snowboarding levels were fun!

Klonoa on the GBA seemed to be a bit more puzzle minded. I enjoyed it but it was really short.

No I was kind of mixing two different things there--my bad.

What I meant was that if you didn't like the first gba game, you probably wont like the others. The PS1 klonoa comment was just thrown in because I love that game.:D

ah I see, thanks man and everyone else.
I had heard from someone at another forum that Dream Champ Tournament or whatever it's called was the only worthwhile GBA 'noa.
