Anyone else wish Krauser's voice was more like the Anime?

Come on, you know what I mean. In all the FF's and KOF 96, his voice acting sounds so hokey. He sounds nothing like the German badass he is in Fatal Fury 2 the anime (some of the best voice acting to grace an anime IMHO). If only the games used the same voice actor from the anime. Oh well...

I wish he would even look like in the Anime!

But his "German accent" in the movie sounded very "synthetic"!

I think German speak English with a different sound. Also he could not say his own name - "Krauser" - in correct German.

BTW - Wolfgang means "the strong one"

HELL NO.

B.J. Love is awesome, and he did a fantastic job for both Franco and Krauser.

Krauser sounds like a total badass in RBS, which is very fitting (considering that he's a badass in that game).

Franco sounds like a crazy goofball in RBS, which is also very fitting (since he's a crazy goofball i nthat game).

Yes, that actually was the best voice acting I've ever heard in an anime. Which is very very sad (he wasn't bad, but there should be better). And it is the primary reason I buy fansubs.

I was talking about the Krauser in the Movie.

Besides has Krauser never spoken real German anywhere.

Very sad!

Yeah, but the original post mentioned FFS (which was when B.J. started doing Krauser's voice, I believe) and KOF '96. In the games, B.J. has always done a great job.

Nah I like all variations of Krauser, remember the neo version came first, so I will give it first hit.

The anime represented a more romantic variation of myself. While the game, had more of a noblement effect to the voice and moustache. (not that the anime did not have these elements, just the games conveyed them a little more)

I think all versions of Krauser are cool, so there is really no complaints from me.
Masami Obari is very heavy on the more feminine appeal for characters, while the games pertain the original concepts.

When I originally saw Krauser in the anime missing the moustache, I was a bit angry. Cause it was not a perfect transition, but came to the conclusion all versions kick ass.

Just for the record, Krauser's VA in Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle (dubbed) was Paul Dobson. As a sidenote, Terry's VA in the anime was Mark Hilderth (better known for being the voice of Heero Yuy in Gundam Wing).

Paul Dobson also did Demitri's voice in the Nightwarrior anime as well as Quatre's head butler in GW; if I'm not mistaken. My best friend is a Krauser nut. He'd proberly bust a nut if he heard Krauser telling an opponent to "Die quietly." in a game.

I would prefer a real German: "Stirb leise" or "Stirb lautlos" or "Stirb ohne einen Mucks"! <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Maybe!

Watch closely next time you perform a move; especially a projectile! Coz then you could have performed the_move!

You will recognize it by seeing me smiling at you!

I put the "the" into capitals coz you cannot hear the tone I would speak it out.

I would stress that like "the" at an Noun beginning with a Vowel!

I hope I could explain it correctly!

Like in this "Fist of the North Star" motion picture:

"You´re a master of Southern Cross." "I am THE master of Southern Cross."
