PSP power supply for MVS?

I was looking into this at one time myself for a MV-1C board with the audio amp removed and tapped. Any ideas? I thought that someone had said to at least use a 5v 3a supply for the single slot boards. I would love to know though if you have any thoughts on it.

It should supply more than enough for that board............

i've used a psp power supply on a MV1C with no problems (5v only etc)

nice neat compact single voltage power supply

It would be better to have 3-4 amps instead of 2

In general yes but for a MV1B or 1C 2A is well enough as these boards+cart draw less than 1A.

i think when i hooked my mv1-c with cartridge inserted, and 2 joysticks inserted, plugged into TV etc it was pulling 1.1A

bit different to the ol' 6 slot, that pulled 5.7A with 6 carts in
