He is not that strong!Shigen,Kaede,Kagami
Lee and Morya are stronger than him!Yup he
looks cooler but his fighting skills are not
that special!Maybe he sholud be hidden and
much more powerful!
Shigen can get Setsuna`s ass pretty easy I
say!

Yeah, he looks cool, he has some major combos and his super armor means he can give much better then he can get (walk through their attack and smack the BEEP outta them). Remember visuals are 2d fighting games are supposed to be good at. The coolness and all-around good lookingness of Setsuna mean alot.
Plus his attitude. An undead person who smirks as his kills <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Kaede and Moriya's moves aren't useful?! O.K.... Setsuna got mad combos and he's just as good as Kaede and Moriya; if not better. As for popularity; what's not to like?! He's cool looking, has a nice outfit, and then there's that SDM of his... quite possibly one of the best DM/supers in fighting games (It's tied with Vampire Savior's Jedah's EX moves as some of the most memorable ones I've seen.).
