I've placed the recovery files under PSP/GAME/RECOVERY and it seems to be working.
I'm still waiting for my PSP to charge up, though.

Okay, my PSP is at full-charge and the recovery attempt was a total success!

Sorry I had a busy day at work that day.
My white PSP worked fine when I tried to downgrade the customer firmware but I do admit that it might be different on those TA-082/086 board PSPs. In one of those days, I'll have to visit you and downgrade my camo PSP.
By the way, DJ Max 2 rocks even though I suck at it.
Edit: DJ Max 2 Silver LE rocks even more. Still debating that I should open it or not...
