Not much news, but KOF Neowave for Xbox has just been added to 360's backward compatibility list via the latest downloadable update.

I don't have this game. I know what wasabi thinks of it without asking, so I'm looking for other opinions on whether it's worth picking up.

It's nothing special, imo. But if you can get it cheap, what the hell. It's not completely horrible.

it's pretty much kof 2k2 (which IMO has the most flexible engine for combos). And also has a nice roster.

so, yeah go for it, besides it shouldn't be over 20 bucks.

Yes, Neowave was an online fighter over live. You'll need a Gold account (equivalent to the old Live account) to play online of course.

I like Neowave more than 2002 personally, but I only played the PS2 version...I don't know if the Xbox port is messed up or anything.

Trying to hunt down a copy of the game here in Kanazawa is also proving to be a futile effort. :/
