i used a gamester joystick for the guts. its basically a neogeo to xbox adapter.
every button was wired for its own ground but they were all tied together on the pcb, so i just connected my ground chain to the ground pin on the controller's cable connector.
im getting a buttload of ghosting problems. since every button is analogue, when i press some buttons, random buttons will be pressed too (but not at max value.) its not a shorting issue. it works fine in windows since you can set the button threshold to max in the drivers and only an actual press will work.
the ghosting is more apparent when i use my real neogeo stick vs the one i built.
anyone recommend what to do or a better pad to use?
