I have a few issues with my monitor...It is a Matsushita 19" color rastor that is in what used to be a classic atari cab. The monitor used to look like this with poor focus, roughly 2" of horisontal foldover on the right side, and odd "pull" on the top of the screen to the left:
_____________
\...................x\
...................x
...................x
...................x
...................x
---------------
I focused it decently for its age (considering its a 25 year old monitor) and I adjusted the horizontal hold which corrected (mostly but not completely) the odd "pull" on the top of the screen. And have tried adjusting the horizontal position and size but cannot correct the foldover at all.
Is this moniror toast and not worth keeping or is there a simple solution such as replacing a cap or two that would fix this? Im used to recapping vector monitor deflection boards as I have done a few so far...but never tried a rastor before.
