I have just received "Ninja Gaiden" jamma pcb (bought it from ebay)... booted it up and it looked ok, RAM/ROM check 100% fine... that is until I started playing. I have noticed that certain sprites are corrupt, in a strange way. Vertical white lines appear on them only when a game character (player character or any other) goes 'behind' an object in the game, say, phonebooth. :blow_top:

I have no idea what to do at this point, should I send the board (which looks original) back to the seller (postage on this wasnt cheap, and I had to pay import duty too :( ), or there are a number of things I can do to fix it?

:help:

Thanks guys.

Sorry for the dumb question - how do I clean it? Do you mean the jamma connector or the whole lot?

Suggestions welcome, n00b style! :D

you could clean the jamma connector
try lightly bending the board when the game is running... do the graphics get better or worse?
if so, you could reseat the eproms on the board, but there is going to be a fuckload to do.
