Single-slot game saves....how many..?

Just fit a new battery & serviced an old 1-slot i found in my garage....
My question is...how many separate high-score saves will this unit store in memory....before it starts to shuffle the last game save off...?
Currently...its saving 4 game settings/high scores..

For some reason I keep thinking 8...but that may be for a 4 slot.
There was a topic on this question..

Yeah....i tried the search engine...multiple times with different key words...keep getting the o'l error messages!! :mad:

I had an eight cart save in mind also...

My MV-1F holds seven saves. (The cart in it is 1, the others are numbered 3-8.)

1-6 slot

I always thought it was eight saves on any mvs board before it started to overwrite.

Right on the money there Lime2K...mines exactly the same...because i'm using this single slot on a candy i have selected seven of my favourite mvs carts just to play on this ( just so i can save my high scores).
