Survivor mode in MotW DC...

How should I go about beating it? I have tried for a year or so and I still can't do it! If I'm lucky I get to the 12th fighter and loose. Any tips and strategies?

The two best people to do this with are Terry and Dong. Just stay on the offensive and murder the computer, go combo crazy, get all of the bonuses and avoid the bad bonuses. Hope this helps.

Yes. Use a character with at least one of these qualities: damaging combos and fast jabs with good reach. Or use someone with both, Terry.

You want to hammer the CPU with strong combos, but also constantly tap out jabs nearby. Every time you score any kind of hit, whether it's a big combo or just a jab, the CPU has a chance of dropping a life or time item (some opponents will drop multiple life items when jabbed repeatedly; Jae Hoon and B. Jenet seem to do this a lot for me for some reason). Keep pounding and jabbing and don't pick up life down items, and you'll make it through.

Only person i can do it with easily is Butt, the Zan-Retsu-Zan TOP move always gets a few icons out and so does many of his combos, especially his hidden p-power.

My man, you took the words right out of my mouth. This reminds me of a Meat Loaf song...

But seriously, I used Butt to finish the Survivor mode. Basically there's like a random chance that some little power balls will fall out of your opponent for each jab, so if you use the Zan-Retsu-Zan, and each one of those little jabs doesn't take off that much, then you're all set to pick up all the nice power ups, lifeups and you're well on your way. Butt also has nice juggles with his fireballs, send them flying off into the air with the slow one, then follow up with the fast one to catch them on the way down. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Go with Khushnood. I've beaten survivor a few times, its easy if you play the right way.
Be defensive, just defend when necassary. Pile it on with jump in d's into other combo's.
Get good with some of the cancel chains Gunsmith put on gamefaqs.

The easiest way is to finish the survivor mode with Jae Hoon. You can combo a super into another super, which usually gives you the "power" power up, so you can go like: QCFx2 + A, eat power up, QCFx2 + D --> lots of damage

Do his qcf qcf a air dm, then jump immediately when it ends and do another, then do a f,d,f+c afterwards.
