They had a lot of new games in the clearance area at a local store, and I wanted to get some opinions on their general quality as a game, and also the prices they are being offered for.

(GBA) Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones - $8.00
(GBA) Super Robot Taisen - $16.00
(GBA) Final Fantasy IV Advance - $16.00
(GBA) Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town - $16.00
(DS) Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Konami Best Edition) - $16.00
(DS) Lunar: Dragon Song - $16.00

Even though it's not for a handheld, they also had Suikoden V for the PS2 for $16.00, but I haven't played one or heard about one since IV.

Sui V ain't that great, skip it. Best in the series is still II.

Lunar is yet another re-telling of Lunar, and even judging it on its own it still sucks. I've heard the battle scenes are some of the worst in RPGs.

Castlevania is...Castlevania. If you like the GBA ones and don't mind the rehashes and uncreative areas of Drac's castle, then by all means...

I heard Suikoden V is better than IV, but not as good as III. The only one I've really played is II, and was pretty damn good. Suikoden V might still be worth $16.

The price for Fire Emblem is good and it is a good game. (Best Buy had this a while back for 9.99)

As for Super Robot Taisen and FF IV those are pretty good prices.

Best Buy had the revised cover (Greatest Hits) version of Castlevania DS for 9.99 but I am not sure if they still have that price for it.

Target has had Lunar DS for 14.99 in a special bin for a while. This game is not very good IMO.

As for Harvest Moon, that seems about the same price it has been for a while. The GBA games (most of them) are dropping in price with everything moving to the DS.

Fire Emblem, Super Robot Taisen, FF IV and Castlevania are no brainer. Get Harvest Moon only if you like that series. Don't get Lunar, it sucks.

Lunar isn't terrible, but not great either. I had fun with it for a few hours but it just got tedious after a while. It's probably worth about $7-$10, IMO.
