My AES is acting strange. It's a Japanese version used in the US. When I touch the part of the cord that goes into the system when its on, if it moves, the system resets. Are there voltage issues in the US with Japanese stuff? I know nothing about stuff like that. If so, do I have to buy some kind of stepdown device, or could I buy a power supply used on the English AES?

Sounds like a faulty connection.

Is the socket tight in the back of the AES or loose?

It's kinda loose. I can easily move it around a bit. I guess you're right then! lol

Someone help a Neo newbie out!

Just bend the little metal piece outward a little bit and it should be good.

What 'little metal piece'? I'm not so sure I follow. lol

I don't see anything I can possibly bend.

EDIT: Problem solved. I don't know what happened, but the system works fine now, whether I wiggle the cord or not. Thanks for your help, Xian Xi!
