Any Game.com stuff worth anything?

I know we all love to bash the Game.com, and with pretty good reason. I see this stuff all the time in some used game stores I go to, but always just pass right over it. Just wondering if there's anything worth keeping an eye out for.:eye:

The only thing Ive ever seen go for more than 20 dollars was the internet package.

Other than that you can get sealed new games for under 5 dollars and new systems for under 10.

I saw a lot with a new system and every game made for the system sealed new go for under 75 dollars.

I want one.

i wish they had made that castlevania for it. It looked pretty damn good actually. RE2 isn't awful either.

Thanks for the info nes. I thought there might be some elusive game that went for big bucks, but I guess that modem thing is as good as it gets.

I had a game.com back in the day. It was a decent system, however the LCD was horrendous! The refresh rate was so slow that everything became a blur when you moved around.

I still have a working one with Fighters Megamix and Arcade Classics (Joust, etc). Pretty sure it still works, haven't turned the thing on in probably 8 years. As stated before, terrible refresh rate, terrible LCD, the thing was damn big and took 4 double A batteries (plus a watch like battery for memory). Whenever one of the marketing tactics for a handheld is, "You can check your email on it", avoid the purchase.

You can't even pawn them off on someone, I've posted just give me $5 shipped for the thing and never got offers. :lolz:

I had the misfortune of getting one of these for Christmas when they were still being made. It got 2-3 days worth of play and has been in the attic since.

Terrible, terrible handheld.:oh_no:

It was marketed as a "check your email" handheld in like 1997. It used like a 14k modem and you had to hook it to the wall, plus subscribe to a proprietary service.

Ahead of its time for sure, but still terrible.
