Konami 12 game minicade thing

Has anyone seen these? Anyone know how the guts work? Is it a jamma type setup or possably a standard tv composite interface? Any info at all on the guts? Getting some thing like this would be great if it could be taken out and rebuilt on a decent sized screen or possably consolized. Thanks.

I havent seen one quite like that but it will be an emulator set up, depending on ther price you may be better off going for a mame cab.

Found the maker of these things...still no info on the guts though :P Oh well I will keep googling and see what I can turn up....

Yeah MAME setups are prity cool but I like real hardware junk too...so having something like this would be kind of cool...maybe set up the board (if it has one) in a decent cab to be switched with other boards on a real monitor...and use its little bitty monitor as a test monitor (if its rgb).

I imagine it's the same thing as the Midway cabinet, which isn't worth the cardboard it's printed on. The guts are some proprietary thing that outputs RCA A/V to a television.

Looks like it could be consolized fairly easily, but I certainly wouldn't pay $500.00 just for the guts. Or the cabinet, for that matter.

Yeah, that's bigger than I imagined.

I did see a display unit for the Midway one at Target once, the monitor looked cheap as hell (Still, it must've been 13") and the graphics were all scrambled. I imagine it uses the NOAC style hadware like those Jack's plug-in TV games.

Wow...even worse than I thought...I was hoping it would be at least better than a composite output...oh well it was a good idea for awhile. To make that into a decent cab I would have to get a composite to RGB converter and everything...definatly not worth it. I would be better off getting one of those multi-JAMMA boards that you see all over (like the 39in1 or whatever)...which is also doubtful as they seem rather expensive. Thanks for the pics that helped me make up my mind!
