can I use this to get a supergun with RGB to work on a non RGB TV?

yes I know not likely to work.

there's also scart to YUV converters - can those be used with regular neo geo the same way neobitz works?

they are pretty close to the same as the bitz...

I had one.....
It worked pretty good...

I'm pretty sure that it even worked off of the unmodded AV port of my AES. If it didn't the RGB bypass would be an easy solution.

I'm pretty sure tha that is a passive connector and won't work.

You need an encoder....
how about scart to vga - what type of adaptor would you need - is it even possible?

so if you have a supergun with rgb only, and your TV doesn't support it but does component - that 5 dollar adaptor could be a work around?

Hm yeah, IIRC Scart can carry either S-Video/or RGB along with composite so it's just a splitter, and if your signal is already RGB, then it's no use.

Even if it wasn't, you are still going to possibly have the 50/60 problem.

Doesn't Argentina use PAL-N? I thought that was compatible with PAL.

shit.. now that you mention it.. PalN for Argie, PalM for Brasil - PalB is Uk right? I'm all muddled now.

either way, no scart sockets on the back of our TVs - shame.

so as you can gather I have no clue what I'm talking about here, but can you have an adaptor that takes the scart signal and allows you to plug it into a pal (european pal - scart compliant) tv via AV? if so I could use one of those and a transcoder to convert palb to paln.
