AES Snap-Lock Case Issues

I just started buying AES carts from the Neo Store and they are, of course, in factory new condition. In particular, the clear plastic on the outside of the case is perfectly flat and tight.

I have a couple of used games where the plastic is kind of loose or lifted up from the case when closed. I've also seen, as most of us probably have, where the plastic is warped and has a wrinkled effect.

So, what causes these problems and how should I store my carts to keep them perfect.

i think its just the case sometimes.

because i have 3 different versions of the snaplock case.

2 snk, and 1 vic-a.

the vic-a uses the shiny plastic for the insert cover, like the old clam shell cases.

now, my kof2k case uses the rough plastic, but its loose.

then i have my ms3 which uses the rough plastic, but its tight.

me and neogml compared our cases and found the same thing, so my conclusion is that its just the way the case was made. but i could be wrong.

Thanks for the input guys, I never considered the sun. I wish you could buy new cases, because I've seen some really bad ones.

Its just the way the cases are.

I have gotton new games over the years and have noticed the 3 different snap cases also.

The best being the new ones now.

for some reason, that reminds me of the time when i dunno how, but my CvsS booklet was stuck outside in the rain and it's color faded..... try keeping it in good weather, as the other guy said.

Yep someone was offering 3 or 4 of them a few days ago. Sorry guys, I brought the best looking one, the rest are in shitty condition
