Game systems used with Neobitz/JROK?

I got to wondering about the use of a RGB to component converter for old game systems about a year back. Jrok had a deal on his new board at the time so I went with that one and he was very helpful with some problems I had. After that I have had no problems with my systems that i have gotten cables wired up for.

So my questions is this has anybody used a Neobitz or Jrok board to the same thing? Have you had anything not work? What systems have you tried? Did you do a internal mod with either or make a external box like a supergun for game systems?

Please let me know what you have found!

The one thing I found, my neobitz board didn't work with a phillips TV. The picture kept skipping. I could be wrong, but it seems RGB to NTSC converters work best on Japanese brand TV's. From seeing pics of members collections, it seems lots of members use Sony flat screen CRT tv's.

Also, I'm sure there are a handfull of TV's that won't work with RGB to NTSC converters, but I don't think anyone has compiled a list.

I have a Phillips at home and it seems to work fine. Reds are a bit hot, but such is life.

However, I haven't hooked a neobitz up to anything old (SNES or whatever).

Sony flat screen CRTs are very forgiving, I havent had any problems with them. But one thing to remember is that the Neobitz and jrok do not alter the refresh rate so any refresh issues are strictly from the source.
