Hey folks,

I recently bought a cps-2 and for some reason the monitor displays upside down. I have read a ton of post and found out that i need to split and reverse the yoke plug..which is no big deal..but here is my other problem.

When using the csp2 the top of the screen is indented in on both sides, but when I plugged in an mv-1f into it, it doesnt have the indented look.

I am a newb to the cps2 board so is there a setting im missing somewhere or is the board f'd up.

Any input would help

thanks

The CPS2 board has a setting to flip the picture upside down -- hit your test menu switch, go to configuration, then to system. It's listed as "Monitor Flip".

Enjoy!

I know how to flip the monitor with the cps2 board. However, I am more concerned with the indenting at the top of the screen.

any ideas anyone??

What exactly do you mean by indented?

Most monitors do need to be adjusted between types of boards (my Atomiswave's picture displays about 2 inches to the right of where my CPS2 board's pic displays on my monitor).

If you post pics of what the monitor is doing, along with the monitor model number, I'm sure ttooddddyy or somebody will come along to help.

(Also, you may want to change the title of this thread to something like 'CPS-2 Monitor Problems', as to attract those peoples into the thread.)

By indenting do you mean "flag waving" ? Try adjusting the monitors horizontal hold.

It literally looks as if someone cut two triangles out of the left and right corners of the monitor. Ive tuned monitor pots before and i just cant seem to get it to go away. I tried the cps2 board on another cab and it work fine...weird indeed.

i dont know the monitor model cause i actually sotred the cab away till a lter date...getting ready to move soon, so im only keeping the essentials here.

thanks for all the help so far guys
