Fatal Fury Special fans, news & vids from Japan!

A few of us huge Fatal Fury Special fans over at SRK recently made a great discovery, there is a dedicated hardcore FFS scene in Japan (much like the SSF2T/X scene) that still holds regular comps and have found some amazing things in this game like Kara cancelling into Supers. There are loads of videos to download of some of there amazing feats.

The Jubei milti Cookie Combos are particularly amazing.

Also I have a FFS thread running here with character guides and stuff that I and others have written, any contributions are welcome.

On the thread one of the majour issues is, what (if any) rules do the Japanse FFS players use. Do they allow full line system & Guard Attack? If anyone can decode this or anyother info from the Japanese site please post on the thread above.

I've already found the correct link. I had some problems downloading the videos then, cause IE always gave me an error message.

Finally success came with Getright.
Man these vids are way impressive! I didn't even dream of (100%) combos and counter attacks in FFS!

You should thank Middlekick of shoryuken.com for discovering this site and posting about it there. That's what got some of us so interested.

NEWS: They just recently got a new video, of the power of Tung's anti-air special move against crossups.

Plus, on another site, Middlekick found two FFSpecial infinites. They were with Joe and Duck, and were both done exactly the same way: Against cornered opponent, do close standing A, walk towards them a bit, do another close standing A, and repeat.

I suspect that the above combo should work with other characters...

the infinity combo is available with other characters:

-terry bogard
-joe higashi
-kim kaphwan

I mentioned Joe up there along with Duck, but I did not know about Terry or Kim. Thanks. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

And Duck's infinite can be done anywhere on the screen. Do you happen to know if this is true for any of the others?
