Who's getting it? I might pick it up today for $20. Not much reviews up for it yet. Maybe I'll wait a couple of days.

Where did you see it at? I thought it (and Konami Classics) got pushed to a 3-29 ship date?

But yes, I am planning on getting it and the Konami Classics DS game.

I didn't actually see it, I just assumed it was out today. That's weird that they would push it back just two days.

Well...maybe some stores will get it in today? Some retailers like EB/GameStop pushed the ship date to the 29th and I don't see either game listed on Best Buys site. (Although they carry Pogo Island:oh_no: )

The Konami Classic got a really good review at IGN. Looks like all of the games are playable with only one DS card. Track and Field and Contra is the main reason I will be picking this up.

Agreed and no Wi-Fi, that would have be fucking great. However, if you read the IGN review, they really liked it. It looks like these are the actual arcade games, not console ports, so that is a good thing.

If anyone sees either game out, let me know where you picked it up at. I doubt I will make much of an effort to find these (until they are readily available)

I went to about 15 stores looking for Puzzle Quest:Challenge of Warlords for the DS before I broke down and ordered it on line. I can't believe retailers carry so many shit games but don't carry some of the really great games out there.

Don't you work @ Target? Couldn't you somehow order it through them?

Dude...I don't work. I use to be a store manager with Target years ago but that was prior to opening up my game stores. (Which I no longer have) And...to your question, no, you can't order things at Target . They carry what they carry and that is what your choices are.

I found the Konami Classics Arcade game today at Toys R Us but I didn't see Honeycomb Beat any where. I picked up another copy of Puzzle Quest (found one at Shopko) for my wife.

Is Puzzle Quest hard to find? I heard EB/GS didn't even order them? Honeycomb Beat seems to be hard to find as well. Maybe I'll call around tomorrow.

Unless you order Puzzle Quest on line, it can be a real bitch to find. (Unless you get lucky) Not all EB/GameStop stores carry it and they are only getting in one at a time.

I finally ordered a copy on line and it is a fantastic RPG/Puzzle game. Tonight I saw one copy at ShopKo (They only got one in as well) and I picked it up for my wife. IGN gave it a 8.9/10 if you want to read the review.

I have not seen Honeycomb Beat yet but since I have read that it is only a one player game, I will probably pass. As for Konami Classic Arcade, I have mixed feelings about this one. There must be 15 arcade games on it but they sure look like shit. I am sure they look like they used to but it would have nice if they would have cleaned them up a little. Contra, Gradius and Track and Field make the purchse worth while but I am not sure how long this game will be in my collection.

DS games are the one thing I collect. So unless it is a turd, I have owned it at one point. I then sell off the ones that are not collection worthy.

Multi-player is a huge factor in what I buy as well as we have multiple DS systems. I really like the games that offer some sort of single card multi-player play. Those games (if decent) end up getting a lot of play time.
