I don't know why I never posted this and I feel like kind of a jack ass since it's something I'm kinda proud of.

Posted this in arcade Central, thought I'd put it in the market.

A friend of mine and myself designed a cupholder for pinball machines that mounts to the machine leg instead of directly to the cabinet. this saves the game from being blemished or drilled into. The holder is designed to accomodate 12oz bottles and cans and can hold a pint glass securely, but it was not designed to. I kep pints in mine all the time and they are fine.

Here is a fair review that pinballnews.com did for us on the holder. They point out that they fair better in homes rather than bars and show the pint glass sizing. Keep in mind these were designed for home use and for bottles and cans.

You can buy them at the stores listed in the review or I'll sell them individually for $10, couple bucks for shipping on top. I haven't sold them individually in a couple years and i don't remember what it cost. Matte Silver or Black.

PMs welcome.

for collectors, i think they are not such a great idea
look pretty ugly IMO, and most collectors are pretty anal about the look of their gems.
for bars, pretty damn cool. though, that pint glass is just asking for trouble to spill or overflow all over the cab :)

they were never intended for pint glass use in the first place and they can get jacked around in bars pretty easily. I've kept games in bars before to make some scratch and I was always replacing the cupholders.

that's ok if you don't like the look, that's one thing we're trying to revise, but I believe that the practicality outways the look, especially if you have a game up against a wall on one side. the holder fits within the games playfield taper and the wall so it is hidden somewhat. black holders blend into black legs and shadows up against a wall and they all blend well in rows of games. chroming is too expensive so we went with matte silver. haha we originally just made them for our games cause i was getting pissed at people setting beers on the glass when i wasn't around.

bottom line is that the holder does ZERO damage to the game, it's not a permenant fixture and there's something in homes around the US, around Europe, and around New Zealand that I made and I'm pretty proud of that. haha.
