Do they go for that much? If they do, I have 9 for sale. I guess Christmas is coming early for me this year.

People use them to rip games from the console to the computer for backup. Its the fastest way. You can go with a cheap cable but that way will prob take an hour per disk.

Yea these things fetch a ridiculous amount of money. I often wonder myself why anyone would ever need one.

its faster to upload code than the dc coders cable

It would help to not list them all at once.. Maybe 1 or 2 a month to keep them hard to find.. Or sell 1 or 2 here and 2 on ebay now that way to max the returns.

Actually, after looking, I have 12 of them brand new and in the original Shipping container. I remember paying around 5-10 for each. Didn't know they were used for coding and transfer for backups.

hehe wish i had some cash left for 1.. even though i currently dont have a dreamcast.. I've had prob 5 in my lifetime.. prob own 1 again some time.

I thought the American Server got shut down so its worthless for people here in the US.

Oh Well I have a couple of DC games I wouldn't mind backing up or for ripping music and such off of them but I'm not going to spend that kind of money right know for one.

i remember seeing these at best buy. I wish I would have bought them at the time.. Oh well. If you are looking to sell any of yours or trade, give me a PM.

I sold my coders cable a couple of months back,

I only used it for development anyway \\o
