I originally made this thread asking about marquee holder screws, which I've since found with some nuts and bolts. However my Uni doesn't have the leg casters, and the machine can wobble quite a bit while playing without them (it's on wheels). Does anyone know what size leg adjusters I'd need to put on my naomi uni?

Thanks in advance!
Shmenge

I just got my marquee holder in the mail this morning, but I'm not sure where to get the screws for it, as it didnt come with any. The Naomi Uni manual says they're tamperproof screws, which I have even less of an idea where to buy them (Home Depot is pretty much out, where I live). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

It uses metric sized screws, not sure of the size however. The ones for my astro cities are "tamper proof" screws, but you can substitute regular ones as long as they fit.

as long as you can fit a screw through the machine and into the marquee it should hold it in place. They are preety sturdy cabs, its not going to moving around much when youre playing it.

Ahh, everything seems to have gone well. Still need those leg casters, and a VF4 Evo 2p CP or a Naomi Uni 2p CP (3 button), but everything else is in working order. Check it out:

Thanks to RGP from Sega-Naomi for providing the artwork, and thanks to Craig for providing the marquee holder! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what those little white plastic pieces are for between the speakers? It looks as if something goes there, but I've yet to see a single Naomi Uni make use of them. How strange! Also, has anyone here ever replaced the light fixture underneath the marquee? I've seen naomi marquees fade because of the lights, and the plastic cover of the case has actually turned really yellow, but only where the light is. I was thinking about replacing the fixture, but I want to get a type of bulb that wont damage the artwork. Any ideas?

Now you just need either a Naomi Universal control panel or a Virtua Fighter 4 control panel (which i think only comes in 1 player).

Thanks, but the CP has got to be 2 player. It's the only part I'm missing tbh. I suppose I could see if someone is selling a crazy taxi high roller subwoofer, but... overkill? :P

I think you will have trouble finding one for sale seperately, although there is a full machine for sale on ebay.co.uk.

im going to mess about with trying to mod the light cover today and see what i come up with. If i can get it green or blue i might invest in a set of similar coloured skeleton buttons and balltops.

Im also going to try and get my own marquee made out of plexiglass, i just need to find a shop that will cut it out professionally.
