Used to have an Atomiswave, enjoyed it, dumped it for extra play money, and am starting to miss it a year later. Doing some very preliminary research on possibilities.
I have a candy cab (which I used to run an AW in when I had it), but think I'd like an Atomiswave upright (the nifty black Sammy ones, you know). Here are the questions:
1) Anyone have one or have spent lots of time with one? Any opinions on the cabinet itself? How about the different control panels and ease of use? I only need the joystick panel, but that could always change.
2) Is there any key reason that I should want an Atomiswave candy instead of the upright?
3) What kind of price are these getting right now? Figure with an AW board included and the joystick panel only. Game(s) included are optional. What kind of difficulty is there to locating one in the states, particularly on the east coast?
