At least this SNES version I picked up for 3.99 does. ugh. Utter shite. I miss sprite scaling. I'm glad I can play the real version at any time.

True, but hey, for those can't afford to upgrade... we had to settle for this... people can get so spoiled sometimes... sometimes you just gotta be content with what ya got.

AND WE WERE THANKFUL for an SNES copy of Samurai Shodown. Even if it lacked blood and fatalities.

For the record, the 3DO version had sprite scaling.

I did find it funny how sometimes, really rarely, if you finished them off with a slash they did the animation for the blood-spurting fatality with no blood. Just stood there looking like an idiot.

I had SS on the old Sega Genesis. It had the fatalites and blood. It was fun at the time, but nothing beats the Neo Geo original. SS 2 is by far the best in the series though. Cham Cham rules!

Weeeell you know... all those Neo Geo SNES conversations were good in their own rights, especially if the SNES was all you had.

The worst translation was King of the Monsters. No tag team and 2 monsters missing. Terrible...

Fatal Fury 2 was a GREAT conversion.

Ugh. I got KotM for Genesis, and it is all kinds of awful. I feel dirty in front of my NEO carts after I play the SNES and Genesis versions. Like I cheated on them with a piece of guttertrash. I know the carts pass silent judgement. It's always after a round of SNES SS that my NEO carts always act up.

Right on!!!Sometimes you have to wait and to
satisfy yourself with minor things, but that
aint the bad side of the life!
Besides SS for Sega was even better than the
original!HaOhMARU had incredible Heavy attack
It counters Air jumpers, tooks a lot of damage
and hits twice!
Fatal Fury King Of Fighters was better for
Genesis too with Playable Tung and Raiden it
was worth buying!

Samurai Showdown for SNES does suck. I didn't quite realize that until I read this post. I thank you people for opening my eyes to the wonder of reality.
