Out of curiosity, whats the diff between this and the one sold on Arcade Shock for $319.00 - new?

I'm new to the world of Cave shmups, so forgive me if this is a lame question...

You are looking at regular Ibara for that price, not Black Label.

Beautiful kit here. Someone is going to be very lucky to own this.

Ooh, an old buddy of mine has an Ibara Black Label kit. This version is so much more superior to regular Ibara, it's a shame it's limited to only 100 PCBs worldwide.

If you own the PS2 version of Ibara, it's a bit like the Arrange mode.

So it's not a difference of just the label, the game is actually different?

Thanks for the info!

The game is refined, and harder, with a more "cave style" hitbox if I am not mistaken.

Ibara Black Label is a totally different game than Ibara (and the PS2 Ibara Arrange mode for that matter). It was an extremely limited release in February 2006, PCB only. Here are some differences found in IBL:

- 16 ship types to play with (new wide-shot ship types are available)
- freely selectable weapons in game using the D-button.
- XTC chaining system
- Baradise multiplier system
- Rank meter
- Different enemy patterns and placements in some levels (esp. level 5)
- A shot is rapid fire, shows your hit box, locks on to enemies, and slows your ship down Cave-style.
- C shot is the original Ibara's A shot.
- Extends every 10 mil (instead of the 1mil extends in Ibara)
