I know this might sound weird, considering I own two Neo systems and consider myself an avid SNK fan, but for some reason I never really got a chance to play the Samurai Shodown series to much extent. I own SS2 for NGPC, and I liked it, and after hearing so many people rave about the games I wanted to get into the series. So, my copy of Samurai Shodown 3 for Neo CD arrived today in the mail, and I eagerly ran to my room to play it.
Ok, so I've only played it for about an hour so far, but... I'm not quite sure I like it. I like the graphics and character design, and I like the style of fighting. But... why is this game so hard?! I had it set on the easiest difficulty setting, and I couldn't get past the 3rd battle. Also, while cool, I thought the music was kind of out of place.
I dunno, I'm thinking the game has to grow on me or something? I also read that alot of people don't really like SS3. But everyone whoe said that seemed to be comparing it to the rest of the series. What are your opinions on the game?
