will aes game boards work in a mvs?

I have a burning fight aes without the case will it work in a mvs without causeing harm?

As well as a different physical cart dimension
AES has 300 pins, MVS has 240 so they cannot be simply switched.

Sometimes I wish I could use AES carts on a MVS,then I would buy some of the older titles.

Has anyone tried changing the gender of a converter and using it in reverse.
Are there active components in the MVS>AES converter ??
