Hey guys,

I just recently obtained a Midway "Showcase" Cabinet. I'm in the process of refurbishing it but the control panel needs to be replaced. It's metal "base" (which all buttons & joystick attach to) has many existing holes which prohibits me from the layout I'd like to use. I can't seem to drill any more due to the current holes scattered on the piece of metal.

I'm new to this, since I've never owned a cabinet before. Where can I find another one thats a bit fresher/less butchered?

The cabinet in question is below (mine does not have guns, but it's the identical machine):

I'll post pictures if necessary.

Thanks

Are you particularly averse to just riveting an extra sheet of metal over the bottom?

I mean, it's inside the cab...you should be able to just patch over it without significant repurcussions.

I'll do whatever necessary :)

I need to remove the old control art/sticky-sheet & install a new one (where to buy?). I'd like a Neo Geo/AtomisWave/CapCom button layout since that's what will be used in this machine.
