how about a section dedicated only to beat 'em ups spanning every and any console. mind you, i'm referring to Final Fight, Streets of Rages, Double Dragon.. not versus fighters! (some people seem to catagorize everything involving fighting into "beat 'em ups"). i'd be a big contributor to a section like that.

I would say you're jumping the gun.
All about Shooters started as a thread that got too successful. Due to the thread's success and the mod staff's appreciation for the subject matter, a new forum was made. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I am saying that you're not going about it the way other new subsections have been made.

I say we take away the ability of noobs to start threads in Suggestions.
no, BEUs are still made.. just at a slower pace than most genres these days, and often they aren't a pureblood genre (see: devil may cry). between the xb360, wii, and ps3 - there's about 20 different beat 'em ups.
also, there's shit like beats of rage mods and other fan-made projects (the streets of rage remake, the splatterhouse remake).

I support it. There was an all about Beat em ups thread, but it's buried deep within the inner bowels of this site.

They shouldn't have been deleted --at least not intentionally. Are you sure they're not showing up because of your default view settings? Most viewers are default set to only show threads more recent than a certain date. If you scroll to the bottom of the Spanish language forum you should see "Thread Display Options", see what you have it set to.
