:D OK I know this is like basically an impossible task, but I thought I would just throw this out there.

Does anybody have the US version of Metal Slug 2 for the MVS with the serial #008022? Or if maybe not that number, then one very close to it?

I have a pieced-together metal slug 2 kit and the serials don't match.

I completely realize that this will never work and I will never actually find serial #008022 but then again I definately won't unless I make an effort I guess!

And, again, if you have a cart with a serial that is close I will entertain offers.

047524, is that close enough? hehe jk. I'm not sure i could sell it anyhow. How much would you be offering someone with that exact serial? It would have to be like winning the lottery, hehe.

I think the easiest solution is to get a JP MS2 and get a JP box. No serials on JPs.

not saying this is a god idea, but if it is for your very own personal collection, and you are just trying to make it match for "Yourself..." south-town has replacement labels, and a template you could type the sereal in, but selling this will make you lose friends...:loco:

Well it is for my own personal collection and it's definately not something I would be selling (I'm an absurd pack rat when it comes to video games and related memorabilia! I haven't sold a game for like a decade), but sadly I am one of those people who would cringe at the idea of having a fake label to "complete" my kit.

If only I could be so carefree, but my neurotic nature regarding all videogamery would never permit it.

I am sure many on here could sympathize :)

Thanks for the tip though, I was not aware such a thing existed. This could be very useful in the future.

Metal Slug Serial Number

I will be pulling another lot of Metal Slug 2's (as well as other MVS carts and CPS2 games) from the route in weeks to come. If I have the serial number you need I will be happy to help (no extra charge as long as you promise it is for your personal collection--not for you to resell as a complete set for top dollar). Email me in a couple of weeks and I will see if I can help. Run4Border@aol.com.

Wow dude, that's insane!!! How do you have so many metal slugs? Why do you have so many metal slugs? I have some auctions that are ending soon. When they do best believe I'm gettin' a MS1 and a MSX off ya.

I am the same there are a few games I want right now but only have a replacement label and because of that factor even though the game is the same it just wouldnt feel complete in my mind
