Help me beat amasuka in SS.

I've always found he's had a weakness against jumping slashes in SS1.

Just don't get frazzled when Round 2 or 3 armageddon starts...

any other strategies?

Move to the opposite side of the screen and simply jump straight up, repeatedly. Amakusa will usually do the same. If he comes at you, just slash or kick him from the air.

That should easily take care of him for hte first round.

With Earthquake stand at the far edge of the screen and just use qcf a+b or however you throw the chain at them. Hits almost every time.

If you have Gen-An and you are in the calm moment (tu-tum)
if he come to close use the weak slash (that have a good action range)
just stay away from him,in stand position, and wait that time time run out !

jump and IMMEDIATELY do a fierce slash (A+B)
this is very important, -don't do the slash when you
falling from the jump-



Amakusa usually will be in block animation (if not he will jump, and don't worry the slash will hit him) and you as soon as
you feet touch at the pavement (and near the boss) DO A THROW
(A+B or B only, but I suggest tap A+B.)



repeat this until he die.










If Amakusa do the teleport, (often in the final round) just contiune do the same, distance, jump+fierce slash, throw etc..) untile die or the time run out.



If Amakusa do that move, block it and faster use a weak attack or -medium but long- (or a ground fierce slash if you have a ninja) to hit him.



I have successful tried this with all chara but Charlotte,Nakoruro have some problems because she have an high jump , remember the distance may depends of your chara jump type.
