So I won this auction

I made this seller a question before the auction ended and he never got back to me, but I still bid and won the game, for that price I could not go wrong.

Now, 48 hours after the auction ended, he replied to my previous question and stated that the spine was slightly faded (note that the game was listed as "mint", as everything else on eBay lol)

And he offered me 3 shipping options:

So, about the game, the spine is very slightly faded and the cart has some minor marks, otherwise is just perfect.
About the final price is 199,86 euros plus shipping.
For shippping I have three options:
1)trackable and safe packaging, about three days to arrive will be 60 euros
2) trackable and normal packaging, will be 40 euros
3)not trackable and economic options, thorugh normail mail service will be 20 euros

As you can se he tried to charge me 20 euros just for protecting the game properly (and he was also overcharging on shipping costs), I asked him about that and he answered:

I didnt' know about quick pack europe, i always used pacco celere internazionale, I may ask the post office
About fedex, I'm sorry but can'y ship with it beacuse there are no fedex point in my town
The 20 euros difference for proper packaging, but It will be quite safe even with the normal one.

Making it short: I told him that I would like Qucik Pack Europe (which costs 27,20 Euros) and that I don't mind paying for padding materials, but that I don't know how you can spend 20 euros on padding. Now he's back to me with this shit:

HI, I'm very sorry, the unpredictable happened....I was taking the game downstairs to package as you stated in the previous mail, but one of the first step I tripped and the game slipped off my hand and bounced on the next step, the case opened and game flied off landing bad on the floor, the cart was seriuosly injured, I tired and it didn't work anymore, the case has not suffered high damage, but the cart is in pieces, think that you're no more interested

I'm quite pissed, big money lost....

Sorry for everything, I alrready gave you a positive feedback on ebay, I will accept every kind of feedback you'll leave.

No need for that, how can a game that comes in a snap-lock case get out of it? was he playing some tricks with the cart? Also, how do you test a cart that broke into pieces? unconsistent story...

Oooohhhhh... the cart fell out... Bad luck, isn´t it? I think everything is ok with the game, he just do not want to sell it for that little money...

Give him a negative... first ask for pictures of the broken cart...!

First, the shipping rates are a hell of a scam. I have sent 20kg packages from Italy to Spain for 70 euro through shipping agency.

And second, report this to eBay.

Just got this from the seller:

as you know some snap lock are loose, by the way i stick them together with tape, it was opened in two, by the way believe it or not after 4 or 5 steps it opened, try throwing one of your cart and let me know...
if i didn't want to sell to you i would have said in the first place, I would told you immediately and then put back istantly on ebay
as i stated feel free to give me any feedback, if you thin k i'm cheating give me a negative one, otherwise a positive o neutral one

That is the most sketchy thing I have ever heard in my entire life. Is this seller 10 years old? Or is he the dumbest guy in europe. I guess the morel of the story is "If you need to scam people to make your money, make sure you stay in school at least two more years before you drop out. This way you can learn how to speak with propper verbs, you can learn how to spell, and your diction with be a bit more fluent, and intellegent." Oh, and read stories about how to break out of jail. A better story would be more like... "Yo man, the craziest shit happened last night, I was all drinkin and shit with my bro's and I decided to take everyone up to walmart for more beer. We swerved, and a cop pulled us over, and I was thrown in jail. Since I was drunk, I brought the cart with me, and when a big black man named (BIG HEMP) called me a pussy, and broke your cart in half. I cannot refund your money because I am to stupid to figure out how so." Better story?

By the way, I never paid this seller. I was pending to get a final total because I just confirmed him the shipping method I wanted. He just wasted my time thankfully.

Certainly I cannot say that I am surprised about this...but still he could have set a reserve price and make sure that he would not waste people's time.
