Anyone change their PSP Shell? If so, where did you get yours?

So I've been thinking about changing the shell on my PSP. (Screen has some scratches) Has anyone swapped theirs out? Where did you get yours? I found some of the translucent ones, but I don't like them. I also found a site that sells solid color ones, but I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it.

Thanks.

I have no idea where either; but would like to know also.

Will google it and see about results and post back.

I think it's a bit of a neat endeavor. Do the shells come with matching buttons too, or are you stuck with the basic black?

The silver and white look neat. Not too sure about the pink though. (But I secretly love and find hilarious the idea of a Pink PSP.)

I replaced my shell with a transparent green one a couple months back. Looks great, but the plastic's really cheap, and already has some small cracks here and there. My PSP's very well taken care of, so the plastic on my particular faceplate's just shitty.

Bought it from decalgirl when they had a sale, and it was only about 10 dollars after shipping. :)

I got mine from Decalgirl, as Snoop suggested. The default kits don't come with new buttons, those cost extra.

I wanted a flat black replacement for my factory faceplate, which was scratched up a bit. Installing it was not that hard, you just need a really small phillips head and a lot of patience. You have to put it back together very carefully or the analog nub won't work right due to the positioning of the contacts.

Thanks for the info. I came across Decal Girl as well, after doing some more research.

I noticed the DGX faceplates come with the screwdriver. I may go that route, I just don't know if I will get black or White. Don't know if White will be too girly. But the Mirror Chrome looks kinda cool too. My PSP is scratched and I am tired of looking at it that way.

Oh yeah, one thing I'll suggest to save you a little irritation:

Use some compressed air when you're working in the screen area. You see every little particle of dirt once your system's back together. ;)

I checked Play-Asia, and all I found were the Silicone Covers that covered the entire console. I don't think Play-Asia sells that type of stuff. I think thats why Lik-Sang was shut down, for selling items that modded your systems.

Try Divineo.

Thanks...I like the extra button kit. I play alot of Winning Eleven and the digital pad isn't the easiest thing when using diagnols. And using the Analog...forget it.

So I decided to order a White Faceplate from Decal Girl. Whether I like it or not, I will post pics. Their shipping is exspensive, so I have to wait a full week or so. I ordered the cheapest method.
