How do I run games on here (OE-3.10A')?

Do I need a UMD in the drive to load anything?

You just put the isos in the ISO folder on the root of your MS. There is a "no-UMD" mode that can be activated in the recovery menue (hold R on start-up). If you activate it you don't need an UMD inserted, but some isos are not compatible. To play those isos deactivate this mode and insert an UMD.

Then you just launch them using the menu.

That's slightly more complicated, he should better read a FAQ on maxconsoles or something.

Is there a list of games that arent compatible? I cant seem to get SFA3 or MMX Hunters to load up.

LocoRoco and Lumines work fine though, pretty cool games.

SFA3 is not compatible with the no-UMD mode in this firm. Oddly enough it worked fine is 2.71 SE-C, the author mentioned that mode lost compatibility with the newer releases. Personally I don't see the problem in having an UMD inserted.

About the PSX games, I just convert my NTSC ones using the tools and even give them a picture of my choice. I prefer to do that as I can make all of them save in the same memory card file.

I guess I should go to EB and find the cheapest UMD I can find so I can boot up these games.

just buy portable ops :emb: (not metal gear acid)

it'll save you putting everything on the memcard

plus owning good games is not a bad thing

I bought the pinball collection game and am running PO off a 2gb memory card :emb:

Speaking of though, is there any way to play it without the nub thing. Id rather just play with the D-Pad like on the Playstation versions.
