NICE!
Reto Gamer improved a hell of alot after it's re-birth. It was a good mag from the get go but too stale.
With features on Contra, Vectrex (on kick ass little system) & KOF thsi is one of the best issues yet.
thier feature on Street Fighter two issues ago was amazing as well.

Very nice. Luckily I do know a book store who carries it, so I will pass
by and pick this issue up.

I subscribe to it, but issue price is £4.99. Worth every penny as well !

I went to B&N the other day and they still had the Street Fighter issue out.

Retro Gamer is indeed awesome. I just wish it wouldn't take so long to get here! I love how they get interview with folks that made the classic games and I like their system retrospects.

The people on the boards are really cool too, they all seem to like my webcomic and a few of them want me to send a letter to the main editor to see if he'll put it into the magazine as a feature. Who knows? Maybe you'll be seeing me in there one day.

It's a good mag.

John Szczepaniak redeems himself after the Last Hope business with the hella cool gaming illuminati 2 part feature... That was his magnum opus before leaving the mag.
Issue 34 you should pick up just to read the 1st part plus SNK/Atari's Mirai system gets a mention along with the Euro Kizuna.

And at last John "Balrog" Wilson gets an 8 page Zenobi special this month then :buttrock:

You can download quite a few Zenobi titles for free from John's site, you will need a spectrum emulator such as http://www.spectaculator.com/ or better still buy the Zenobi CD for a few paypal bucks.

Oh and if by chance anyone knows this elusive Mr. ASSEMbler...
I'm after a mint boxed Sony Yaroze :D

I have a yaroze, not mint or boxed though.

If you want to contact assembler I suggest the easiest way would be though his site.

From my experience, B&N (which is the only place in Minnesota I've found it) runs about 1-2 issues behind the actual UK-current issue. So yeah, I bought the Street Fighter issue a few weeks ago. Sometimes the new issue doesn't even make it :(

I look forward to picking this up in a month or so.

What really annoys me though, is that you cannot get older issues of the mag. :(
Retro-Retro-Reprints - one day....
Great art(icle) though!
