beating metal slug 3

anyone else having a hard time beating metal slug 3??
or tell me if you did

None, although I think level 5 should be cut in half at the begining of the space segment... and the last boss is really not that hard if you learn his very simple pattern. I took me and a friend 25 credits or so each to beat the game the first time, now I can do it in 10 or so, and I am getting better... Can get to the third level without dying once.

i have to home cart
so i don't have so many credit
have to beat it on the home version

although i like some of the space segments,it runs on and on.
i hate those tie fighters and eyes,they dont even fit graphically...and the ending coulda been better...
