anyone know a decent site to get some kind of translation from jap to English,as I'm struggling at the moment with what looks like a superb game

That's why I didn't recommend this game to those who wasn't well versed in Jap.
I guess you can go to Alta Vista, and try the transalation--but it will take a looooong time. Actually, why not check at Gamefaqs. They may have one now.
