King of Fighers 96 Collection CD

Are there any actual game differences in the kof'96 collection compared to the normal kof'96 cd release? (e.g. artwork in game,new character's, backgrounds, new music etc)

I wanted to know as I don't want to buy both kof'96 and collection if the games are identical except the collections extra book.

The KoF96 collection is not a real game, it's a collection of KoF96 artwork, animations and "scenes" of the actual game. It also contains a cool soundtrack replayer with track infos and the option to play a round with charas of your choice without loosing energy. Then there are galleries, the official game intros, movelists, etc.

If you want to play the whole game, get the normal KoF96 CD release, but the collection is also well worth getting.
