Deadly Rave - Geese and Rock

I was playing MOTW earlier and was trying to do Rock's Neo Deadly Rave, but couldnt finish it for some reason. I stop playing that and played some RBS and easily did a a line combo into Geese's Deadly Rave. Do you find it harder to do Rock's NDR than Geese's DR?

With Rock's, I can hardly get past his first 3 hits. Ive done it completely before, but only like 5 times.

With Geese's (RBS), I can pull it off almost with ease, Especially after a line combo.

Im not sure about their CvS Deadly Raves, cuz I dont play with either, plus its the same motion for both Rock and Geese. Though i might take up Geese. Extremely Power. <img src="graemlins/drool.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool]" />

Maybe its the timing.
Rock's deadly rave for MOTW:
Hcb,F+A,A,A,B,B,B,C,C,C,D,D,Qcb+C


In CvS2,its freakin easy to perform a deadly rave whether its rock's or geese's.Same timing for both of them.

i had the game for a few months and never new about that DM until i accidently saw it in a faq.

i instantly tried to do it, and within 10 or so minutes i pulled it off with not much difficulty (on the keyboard). but i don't do it cuz i find that i look at my fingers/keys more than on the screen, so why do it if i can't watch it (its friggin cool looking too)?

i just did it in the dc version first try.

but i did hcb,f+ aa,bb,cc,dd qcb+c

2, not 3. i dunno. i got 15 hits. its l33t

The timing for that move on MOTW is a bitch. I have the most success when I do the motion in a somewhat sloppy fashion.
I.E.- HCB, F A, then once close to opponent, hit A 3 or 4 times fast, then B 3 or 4 times fast, then C 3 or 4 times fast, then D 3 or 4 times fast, after that I continually do the burning knuckle motion until the move is complete. Its more work than doing the move "right", but I get 13 to 15 hits more consistently than if I tried to do it cleanly.
Oh, and I'm refering to the Neo Geo, not the DC version, and this is on a 330 mega controller

DC and Neo controllers handle different, and sometimes the timing is off on the DC.
