It took me 4 credits to finish it
5 lives per credit and it was set on level 2
I believe when you switch controllers your points are set to zero
I lost my first life on the way to the mother ship on level 5
Loadsa prisoners
its the first time i have finished it with less than 5 credits - the guys that can do this game on 1 credit must have a great score since there are loads of prisoners on the last level
btw on the emu i can get 5.4 million

I have just tried right now all the routes to see wich one gives you a better score.
I just have to say Buster, that in level 3 you have to forget about the ostrich slug route.
Take the submarine route. but of course you'll have to destroy everything that moves and don't move! you'll finish the round with +/- 50000 more points than the ostrich slug route.

The ostri-slug route is very easy compared with the other route
Better chance to get to the end will all prisoners intact and defeat the boss - imo

Yes, but I personally don't lose any life in any of these 2 routes. I prefer the ostrich slug route because it's faster to finish the round.
The Submarine route is super easy if you keep the most enemy-chasers you can. you don't have to use them in the submarine sewer. then use them wisely.
you won't die too easy.
