My folks, who I still live with, STRONGLY REFUSE to allow me to send my AES to JM Kurtz so it can be modded for the Neo Bitz Board, Svid ,componet, and the LED lit reset button!! They claim all that modding won't change a thing @ ALL in my video signal, and that my brother said there ain't a thing that can be done at all in getting rid of the wavy lines, and rainbow hue, much less inprove the quality nor sharpness in my video signal, saying "Leve it alone!! Be thankful with what you got!! It can't be done!!" I know, as I do, that they don't want me to lose my AES to damage caused by the mod, but I refuse to put up with bad video in my games, much less that rainbow trash!! Sometimes my family can act like muddleheaded stubborn unfelling unbelieveing politicians!!!! The only hope is to get JMK to send me one of his BitzBoards and get a friend of mine, who is a bit into electronics do the mod my self, or modd it the way it was before the mod. I HATE my life, that it ain't fair that everyone gets their AES systems modded, and not me. Leves me out in the could, that plus it HURTS that my family don't believe that such mods, like that done by JMK, CAN make a difference without ruining the AES....... :blow_top: :help: :crying:

Hmmm...where I'm from he'd be classified as a dork...someone who is socially a bit off (no offense to the Corkster, if the account's even legit).

Back in JHS/HS nerds were the intellectuals that excelled at school at a level greater than most, geeks were the ones that were so hardcore into a hobby that it borderlined into obsession (D+D, trading cards, comics, etc). ie, I was a comics and baseball card collectiing geek.

Still got parental control, but I do enjoy it. I worked hard for where I'm at now, the dream I've been working hard for through the year, I ended up with a cute farm. My mom isnt so hep with the place but my dad loves it and comes to visit practically every weekend. He picked up a trailer to live out here. And yes, I DO get bossed around, and I am 42.

but am loving it. Why? Am closer with my parents now than before. They did me a huge favor, when I sold off my place 5 years ago in south bay, I went back to live with my parents for a year while searching for the farm I wanted. Saw 30 places, some truly ugly places, but this one, my dad was with me, he fell in love with it instantly. It is his retirement place to enjoy life as well and I do welcome him and my mom. Wish she would come out more often.

And yup, working full time and paying the bills.
