Ralf Players...

In all KOF below '99 ralf had a great anti-air and long distance attack done by <->+HK. SNK bastardized ralf in '99 by taking out his most effective move and changing his sprite to look like shit.in '99 you have to hold HK for a ridiculous 6-7 seconds, in which time your opponent is too close or you'll miss. anyways how does ralf play in KOF2000 + 2K1??? ive only played '99 since '98 so i was wondering if SNK saw the light and gave ralf his old moves back.

Yeah, the Ralf Kick is an useful special again in 2k1, only that it's not a charge move anymore like it used to be in '98 etc; It's hcb+B now, whereas hcb+D is the Ralf Tackle

Ralf's gameplay in 2k is similar to '99 but he changes a bit in 2k1 (specially when it comes to motions): the GP becomes a special, his Vulcan Punch is dp+P now, etc...

The only good use I had for the Ralf kick in 99 was it did 50% damage when combined with a Leona striker. I have yet to do a Ralf Kick in a normal combo just out of curiosity
