Who really is Grant?

I just finished playing Motw with Grant and in his ending it shows him covering up a scar on his chest or something. There are also hints that he's Geese from some of the other ending and I was wondering what the truth really is, and if Geese is really dead.

This has been driving me mad lately as well. MOTW endings leave so many strings untied it's annoying!!! and who is gonna tie up the stories now with SNK gone???

Grant, contrary to popular opinion, is NOT GEESE HOWARD!!!

Grant's real name is Abel Cameron and he's an old family friend of Kain.

Don't worry; I too thought he was Geese in the beginning, but after reading his story and puting 4 and 6 together, I realized it couldn't be him...even though we all want it to be! <img src="graemlins/multi.gif" border="0" alt="[Multi Color Bouncey]" /> <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" />

Ok, so now I get that Grant is someone completely different. And what about Marie? I thought Rock saw her die, how is she supposedly alive now?
And also what about Geese, is he really dead or are they just setting it up for a return?

Geese might be Grant, but who knows. If he is Geese kinda changed the style around alittle, and Geese is not dead if he was in KOF 96. Geese is a charcter you could throw off a building, shoot him, or even kick him in the nuts, and he would still return; and besides, can't Grant be Grant without people pointing fingers and saying he is Geese. Maybe Grant is just Grant, or maybe SNK will make some whacked up idea like making Grant Geese or a clone. If they make MOTW 2, lets hope all questions will be answered.

Technically, yes he does, after his fall in Fatal Fury 1 he returned looking something like Zangief. He has scars all over his body, but his most predominent scar is on his back which appears as a massive X.

I'd really like to think Grant is Geese, or is at least somehow connected to Geese. I don't think it's an issue of we simply want him to be, there's just several things in the game that almost lead you to believe Grant is in fact Geese. Simply because they give him the "factual" name of Abel Cameron doesn't mean it can't be Geese. Although the pair is Kain and Abel, wooo, biblical references there.
