I have never gotten the chance to play Last Blade 2 AES or MVS, I have only had the chance to play the DC port. Now I was wondering what people's feelings were towards the port. Is the port close to the orginal or is it a pile of garbage? Mainly I would like to know if it is worth spending round 350-400 for the home cart?

It can be acquired for less. I never play it on the DC because I have it on the home cart system.

Galford Forever just sold his for $300.Solvarou has one on Ebay right now. Good prices are to be found.

the last blade 2 dreamcast is an excellent game anyway. ive never played the AES but why not give the DC version a spin first , it's only $15, and then see if you wanna splash out the extra few hundred bucks on the homecart. that is if it is better after all...

Of course I should point out that THERE IS NO BLOOD ON THE US VERSION. Be warned.

Moreover, the Japanese version has a Hanafuda mini game.

No blood?!? Wait am I playing a SNES version of MK? Not that blood is all that big a deal, but it seems kinda stupid that it would be taken out.

I just scored the MVS cart after spending time with the DC version and good lord is it a bitchin' game. Plays a hell of a lot better with an old style Neo stick IMHO.

I just played the DC version I have today... not a ton of load time and pretty faithful to the original. If you go the DC route, be sure to have an arcade stick, as it just doesn't feel right with the DC pad.

Go for the AES/MVS version instead if you can afford it. No load times and it's not comprimised in any way (no blood etc..)
